1. Fistral Beach

2. Trenance Gardens, Newquay
These beautiful gardens are open all year-round and offer a calm and peaceful escape from the bustle of the nearby town centre.
3. Geocaching
Join the world’s largest treasure hunt and get searching for hidden gems all over Cornwall. You’ll need no more than a smart phone with GPS and some eagle-eyed volunteers to help solve the clues.
4. The Camel Trail Cycle path
Grab your bikes and hit the 18 mile cycle trail running from Bodmin to Wadebridge and on to Padstow. Practically traffic-free, the trail is the perfect way to enjoy the miles of scenery along the coast and through the woodlands.
5. Bedruthan Steps
This beautiful area in North Cornwall is named after the mythological giant ‘Bedruthan’, who is believed to have used the iconic stacks off the shores as stepping stones to land. Now part-owned by the National Trust, the attraction is free to enjoy (but read the warning signs – the waters can be dangerous).
6. Cardinham WoodsHead deep into the mixed woodland and discover walking trails, cycling trails, and delicious homemade food and drink in the cafe – a welcome break after all that fresh air and exploring!
7. Heartlands UK
Badged as the UK’s first cultral playground, this free attraction in West Cornwall offers loads for all the family to enjoy. There are botanical gardens, adventure playgrounds and the world heritage exhibitions.
