Fourteen generations of the family have lived at Prideaux Place since its completion in 1592. The majority of the bedrroms are as the Amercian Army left them at the end of the Second World War. The beautiful gardens date back to the 1730’s, opposite the Estate is the Deer Park which is thought to be the oldest in the country.
