Yes, it’s a thing – National Fishing Month begins on Friday 21st July and concludes on Sunday 3rd September.
It’s an opportunity for everyone to try fishing, whatever your age or experience.
At Monkey Tree Holiday Park, you have access to two fully stocked fishing lakes, available every day from 8am until dusk.
Both lakes are situated in mature surroundings, and are fully stocked with carp, tench and roach. You may even catch sight of the elusive 20lb carp… often seen but rarely landed!
Bring the children along for a taster session or settle down for a few hours peace and quiet, soaking up the Cornish sunshine and peaceful atmosphere.
Everything you need to know about fishing at Monkey Tree Holiday Park:
- Book and pay at Reception
- Fees are just £5 per day (plus a £10 deposit) or £28 for the week
- You will need an angling licence obtained from the Post Office or the Environment Agency
- Bring your own equipment and bait
