It’s been an amazing year at Monkey Tree Holiday Park and we’ve had a blast – there was the stunning weather, the fantastic entertainment acts, and of course the guests, who helped make it the best year ever.

Funky Monkey’s Valentines’ Day
The year got off to a great start with a very special delivery of Valentines’ Day cards for Funky Monkey.
He read every single one – thank you to everyone who took the time to write and send him a card.
The Easter Egg Hunt
The sun had his hat on nice and early in the year, delivering unbroken sunshine and bright blue skies for the start-of-the-season Easter egg hunt.
The new season opened with a bang with the annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Our very own resident Mr & Mrs Duck arrived in time for the opening of the park.
Everyone was on the look-out for celebs after A-lister Tom Hardy was spotted at Charlestown.
The Great Gatsby night was a huge hit, with guests and staff dressing to impress in their twenties costumes.
We rounded the month of May off with a fantastic evening of thigh-slapping, line-dancing fun at the Country & Western Night – yeeeehah!
Mark’s Ark made regular appearances all Summer long, wowing audiences with a friendly and fascinating collection of beasts, large and small.
The annual Family Fun Day was a huge success with hundreds flocking to enjoy the activities and events on offer – even the sunshine made an appearance.
Rod Stewart tribute act
The annual Newquay Carnival was another awesome event, drawing thousands, including two hippos, a fish and a lion….
It was celebrations all round when reviews by all our lovely guests were recognised by TripAdvisor, who awarded us a Certificate of Excellence.

It was glamour all the way for the Casino Royal night, and the beautiful September sunshine meant that guests were treated to an unexpected burst of warm sunny days.
The 2016 season at Monkey Tree Holiday Park ended in style with the terrifying Halloween Horror House…..
