One of the biggest events of the year is looming closer as the planning is already underway for Funky Monkey’s birthday party 2016, and this year it’s going to be huge.
We’ll be throwing the big man himself his very own birthday party this August – but don’t tell. It’s a surprise!
There will be bouncy castles, live music, party games, and, of course, plenty of jelly and ice-cream.
See Funky cut his birthday cake, help him blow out the candles, and watch the Punch and Judy show with the birthday boy himself.
It wouldn’t be a party without you, so give us a call and book your August break today so you can get the date in the diary and start planning what to wear!
Date: Wednesday 17 August 2016
Place: The Club, Monkey Tree Holiday Park
The party is free to guests.
What else is on that week?
As well as Funky’s birthday party, there will also be loads of other entertainment this week for all the family to enjoy – Saturday night sees Mr Wacky take to the stage with his early evening family show which will have adults and kids in stitches. You can then settle into a night of live music from three-piece tribute act The Motown Devotions.
Sunday night features a cabaret performance from cheeky entertainer Liam, who takes you on a journey through the decades from the 1960s to present day.
Watch fantastic Olly Murs tribute act, Karl Lewis, performing all of cheeky Murs’s big chart toppers on Monday 15 August.
See children’s entertainer Billy Wiz perform in the club on Tuesday 16 August from 19:30 with impressive magic tricks, comedy lines, and cheeky antics from Dusty the Rabbit, followed by Cameo Rascale at 21:45. The amazing Australia’s Got Talent finalists will be in town with their eye-boggling bag of tricks and illusions that will leave you amazed.
On Thursday 18 August, tour the bright lights of Chicago and New York, be transported to the smoky clubs of New Orleans and feel the romance Paris, all without leaving The Club, as contemporary jazz band Some Like it Hot take to the stage at 21:45.
Then finish your week on Friday night with an awe-inspiring performance by escapologist Merlin Cadogan, who made it through to the Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals in 2009, followed by live music and powerful vocals from Charlie Rei at 21:45.
Quite a week – don’t forget to RSVP as soon as possible by booking your 7-night stay on the park online or by calling reception on 01872 572032.
Funky Monkey can’t wait to see you 🙂
