Fishing lake on the Campsite

With two large lakes on the Park why not try your hand at fishing?

The ponds are set in mature surroundings and are fully stocked with carp, tench and roach. The surroundings make these ponds the ideal place for a novice or a more experienced angler to spend a day or two fishing and perhaps even take part in one of our weekly competitions where you can fill up on BBQ burgers and fish to win prizes!

Our horseshoe lake plays home to bigger fish, this is where you will find the 20+lb carp which are often seen but rarely landed!

Novice's can gain valuable experience from our seasoned Tackle Shop Team and can even take private lessons to really get ahead. The Tackle Shop Team are on hand every day of the week offering advice on best baits and methods, repairs, pole escalation and rod hire.

All anglers must hold a fishing licence obtained from the Post Office or The Environment Agency.
